The Secret to a Healthy life is Sport project, in which we are partners, was hosted by Italy between the 21st and 28th of September. Hungary, Ukraine and Turkey were also partners in the project and 50 participants participated.

The project had a great impact on the participants and had positive results in many areas. Throughout the project, young people crossed national borders, languages and religions and had cultural interaction. Through sports and health activities, they made new friends, broke prejudices and rejected racism. This project strengthened young people's sense of unity and solidarity by emphasising the common values of humanity.

Participants increased their inclination towards team sports and improved their teamwork and co-operation skills. With the sports culture and new concepts they acquired within the scope of the project, they gained a more positive perspective on sports and health issues. They improved their design and manual skills and contributed to creative processes within the group.

We succeeded in increasing the interest of young people in sports by introducing them to the fun aspects of sports. By highlighting women's abilities in sports, we contributed to breaking gender stereotypes. Thanks to the first aid trainings, participants gained important knowledge and skills that they can use not only in sports but also in general life.

The project also aimed to improve the participants' digital skills. Considering the importance of technology today, we were able to increase the competencies of young people in this field. We emphasised the importance of healthy living by introducing daily sports routines and enabled the participants to spread this habit to their environment.

As a result, this youth exchange project contributed to the personal development of all participants, enabling them to benefit from Erasmus Plus opportunities and to disseminate this experience.
