Sport offers numerous health benefits for individuals of all age groups. Sport, which plays an important role in heart, lung and vascular health, is also very effective in reducing the risk of coronary diseases and stroke. Studies show that approximately 40% of deaths due to coronary heart disease are due to factors such as insufficient physical activity, obesity, stress and high blood pressure. We can reduce these risks by 50% by including exercise in our daily routines.


In this context, "The Secret to a Healthy life is Sport!" project, in which we are a partner, aims to encourage young people and the general public to participate in sport. Our project aims to introduce a rich sport culture to our participants and to convey to the younger generations the important role of sport in protecting our health. We also aim to create the habit of combining sports with entertainment and draw attention to the negative discrimination against women. Raising awareness of first aid in sports injuries is also one of the important goals of our project.

This project aims to develop the inquisitive personality, social skills, creative thinking and group-team cohesion of the young participants. We aim to break prejudices among young people by providing opportunities to young people who face social, geographical and economic barriers. By showing that young people from different languages, religions and nationalities can unite around common goals, we aim to ensure that our participants socialise within their own age groups.


"The Secret to a Healthy life is Sport!" project will be held in Rome, Italy between 20-28 September 2024. A total of 50 young people, 10 participants from Ukraine, Turkey, Hungary, Georgia and Italy will participate in the project.
